Camacho Cigars was established in 1962 by Simon Camacho and later acquired by the Eiroa family in 1995. Camacho Cigars is currently based in Danlí, Honduras, and operates as a subsidiary of the Oettinger Davidoff Group. Specializing in the production of meticulously handcrafted cigars, Camacho Cigars utilizes Cuban seed tobacco to create their exceptional blends. Following his exile from Cuba in 1961, Simon Camacho, originally from Cuba, initiated his cigar business in Miami, Florida. Simon Camacho’s cigars gained popularity not only in the United States but also internationally, earning recognition from notable figures such as British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. As a tribute to Churchill, Camacho named one of its most popular cigars after him.
